second factor authorization
On June 13, the 11th edition of OpenExpo Europe was held in Madrid: “The power of GenAI”, with the participation of world-class companies such as Google, Microsoft, Iberia, ILUNION, Repsol and Telefónica.

In this annual event of innovation and technology, Telefónica Innovación Digital has had a special participation, and in addition to our presence along with our colleagues from Telefónica Tech and Wayra we were present with our own stand of TU, our new commercial brand of innovation and technology for individuals and companies.
I’ve already told you a lot about Latchour 2FA (Second Factor Authorization) solution that with Latches allows you to do unique things, such as control privileged accounts with 2 Keys Activation, 4-eye verifications, or simply a second factor authentication to protect your account. If you don’t know it, I recommend this talk that, although it is years old, explains very well what can be done with Latch APIs in your systems, services and applications.
On my YouTube channel, you have more than 100 videos of things you can do with Latch, but we have also been adding 2FA with Cloud TOTP/HOTPLatch for SmartContractsand soon we will have a new service that will be available in the June 30th release, so …. Wait for it!

We have relaunched our TU Latch application, which has a new revamped interface with new features; and today presents a new look both on the web and in its app version available on App Store or Google Play.  In addition, we have opened a free trial period for companies and developers so you can try it at no cost.
TU Latch integrates with your company’s system, and can create security latches (that “open” and “close”) tailored to your needs, services and products. You can have a 2FA for users, you can have Privileged Account Monitoring, you can have 2 or more Key Activation environments, so that an operation can only be done when approved by several users. You can have Permission Control of a supervised account, and so on. The flexible architecture of Latch allows for highly flexible identity management in the enterprise.
In this way, a granular identity management system can be implemented in any company that is super-tight, compliant and auditable of all actions of all user accounts. And of course protect the users. From the control panel the company can: create new digital security latches, add layers of protection to each and every product feature, or make use of support and unauthorized access monitoring functionalities to make informed decisions and improve the security of services and consumers.
TU Latch is an all-rounder tool that adapts to all types of sectors, such as education, e-commerce, fintech or Web3 enterprise. Therefore, TU Latch integrates authentication directly into Smart Contracts, an essential feature in Web3. This allows transactions and actions within these contracts to be much more secure. For decentralized finance services (DeFi) and other Web3 products, TU Latch offers the ability to block unauthorized transactions. This means that users can prevent theft of cryptocurrencies and NFTs, effectively protecting their digital assets.

TU Latch, TU Metashield and TU VerifAI at OpenExpo Europe 2024

At our TU booth at OpenExpo Europe 2024, our technology experts showed TU Latch and attendees were able to try before anyone else this solution, as well as its features and how to integrate it into their company’s systems.  In addition, that day we also showed you other innovative digital products and services that we are building such as: TU Metashield, a security and privacy solution for the treatment of sensitive information in digital files or TU VerifAI to detect images, videos and texts generated by AI.
Evil Greetings!
