We’ve all heard of the concept of the wallet and how it’s transforming the cryptoworld and digital finance. However, it’s yet to be fully embraced by society. As cryptocurrencies become more popular, it’s vital to be aware of these tools to facilitate the management of digital assets, but also the dangers they pose to security and data theft.
A digital wallet is a tool for storing, managing and transacting with cryptocurrencies and traditional ones. It’s an app that saves all the passwords you need to access your cryptocurrencies and it’s key to accessing this world.
TU, the commercial platform for innovation and technological products and services run by Telefónica Innovación Digital, has launched TU Wallet, an app that enables you to use Bit2Me’s digital wallet. This tool allows users to buy, sell, send and pay with cryptocurrencies via the app.

What is TU Wallet and how does it work?

TU Wallet is a multi-cryptocurrency digital wallet that permits you to manage cryptocurrencies and euros via a single place, a mobile app. There’s no longer any need to use different apps, as the Wallet app, which only requires a phone number and email address, will enable you to access all your digital finances.
This app can load Wallet, withdraw your money into other bank accounts at any time and send cryptocurrencies between TU Wallet users. Another of its main features is that it allows users to rapidly swap cryptocurrencies or convert them into euros and vice versa. The cryptocurrency service is provided by Bit2Me, the first exchange registered with the Bank of Spain*, which trades in the Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum, Solana and USD Coin cryptocurrencies.

How to start using TU Wallet

Using the app is very simple. Here’s how to start using it in four steps:
  1. Create your user account on the app. You must first download the Wallet app, available on Google Play or the Apple Store. To sign up, you’ll have to enter your email address, which will be the access key through which you’ll receive messages or resolve any queries that you may have. Once you’ve entered your address, you’ll receive a confirmation email with everything you need to continue.

  1. Check your details. Once you’ve validated your email address, the app will ask you to create a secure password to protect your account. You’ll then have to associate a phone number via which you’ll receive a text message. This is a protective measure to confirm your identity, allowing you to protect your data and operate with complete security.
  1. Check your details with Bit2Me. This form is a security measure implemented by Bit2Me to ensure that all your information is protected. You’ll be asked for your name, surname(s), date of birth and town or city and any other necessary personal details. Finally, accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy, and you’re done!
