There isn’t long to go until the start of the 2025 Mobile World Congress, the most eagerly-awaited event in the world of technology and connectivity. Just like every year, thousands of attendees will come together in Barcelona to learn more about the latest innovations within the sector. But this year the MWC experience won’t be restricted to the event’s physical space. A fully immersive digital universe has been designed to enable users to explore and discover what TU has to offer in a different way.
Contents you’ll be able to find in the TU Universe
In this immersive world you’ll be able to learn more about TU’s most innovative products and services by watching exclusive videos while interacting with other users who are also interested in technology and innovation.
Ranging from a welcome area with introductory content to specialized areas where different technological solutions on cybersecurity, Web3, Artificial Intelligence and much more will be presented. This digital environment is designed to surprise and connect with all those interested in digital transformation. It also counts with an Agora, an area that has a large-scale screen where avatars can sit around, interact and watch videos.
In this universe visitors will be able to explore TU’s leading products, including:
- TU Latch: the authorisation control platform for companies and developers.

- TU Quantum Encryption: a solution that integrates post-quantum encryption to protect companies’ communication and data against quantum attacks.
- TU Quantum Drop: a post-quantum cryptography platform to reinforce security when sending and storing files.
- TU VerifAI: the tool to detect AI-generated and manipulated content.
- TU Metashield: the solution to protect companies’ information and prevent data leaks.
- TU Gallery: the portal to buy, sell and find blockchain-based digital collections.
How can I access TU’s immersive universe?
You can gain access to the TU Universe via the Spatial platform. How can I do that? Here’s how:
- Create an account via Spatial on your PC, mobile or Meta Quest device. You can use your email address or your MetaMask wallet to do so.
- Shape your avatar by creating a new one or, if you’ve logged in beforehand, use the one you’ve created via Ready Player Me.
And now… Delve into the TU Universe.
You can also gain access to the TU Universe easily and rapidly by directly connecting with a default avatar. You’ll be able to enjoy the environment, but you won’t be able to talk and interact with other avatars.
This experience will be open to everyone, wherever they are, enabling them to experience TU’s products in a completely innovative way.
Follow MWC 2025 immersively via Spatial
In the TU Universe you’ll be able to access other virtual stands that will be available during the 2025 Mobile World Congress, including the recreations of the physical stands of Telefónica and Wayra. Here you’ll find different immersive experiences enabling you to access exclusive content and discover technological innovations wherever you are.
- Recreation of Telefónica’s physical stand at MWC25: A space where the Agora talks will be streamed live, and you’ll be able to watch and explore content on the three demos to be held at the Mobile World Congress.
- Recreation of Wayra’s physical stand: where you’ll be able to access videos of the different startups promoted by Wayra.
The 2025 Mobile World Congress will also feature an exclusive Living App on which the event’s main keynotes will be streamed live. The Living App will be available from 3 March onwards, starting with the opening keynote of the Mobile World Congress delivered by Marc Murtra, the new chairman of Telefónica. To enjoy this digital experience, just complete the following steps:
- Enter the main menu of your Movistar Plus+ TV and browse as far as the Apps section located to the left of the profiles option.
- If you prefer voice control, you can easily gain access via your Voice Remote.
- Select the event’s Living App available in the “Recommended” section.
- Enjoy the live and on-demand content, following all the keynotes and demos at MWC25.
The 2025 Mobile World Congress will once again break down the boundaries between the physical and the digital, allowing you to access the event in a unique and unrestricted manner. Log in and enjoy the experience it as if you were there!
