23 April is a special date. A day to celebrate books, stories, and those who write them. But it is also an opportunity to look to the future of digital literature.
Digital literature is a form of storytelling using digital tools. It goes beyond e-books: it can include images, sounds, links, or even allow the reader to interact with the story. It is a new way of reading and creating, especially designed for the online world.
In this article, we will explain how stories, poetry, and narrative also have a place in the world of NFTs. And how, through them, new ways of reading, collecting, and supporting authors and causes that matter are opening up.
Read on to find out more about digital literature and our NFT marketplace, TU Gallery, where we offer exclusive works of digital literature
What is a literary NFT?
It may sound strange at first: literature in NFT? But the truth is that it makes perfect sense.
A literary NFT is not just a digital file; it is a unique piece, with its own context, its own history, and its own metadata. It allows a text to stop being a simple copy and become an original and collectible work, with verified authorship and the possibility of revaluation.
And the best part is that it also opens new doors for authors, who can connect directly with their audience and offer unique content, sometimes in formats that combine text, audio, image, or interactive experiences.
What is TU Gallery?
For those who do not know Gallery yet, it is a digital platform that connects artists and collectors in the NFT universe.
It works on Polygon, a network that enables faster, more sustainable and accessible transactions, without losing the advantages of the Ethereum blockchain.
In our marketplace, any creator can transform their work into a unique digital asset, which can be bought, sold, or simply kept as an authentic piece in your own collection. By simply connecting a Metamask wallet and trading with MATIC, you can explore and acquire art, music, illustration… and yes, even literature.

Before diving into the works, it is worth pausing for a moment. Because this is not just about technology, but about new ways of telling, reading, and connecting with those who write. At Gallery, literature is transformed into experience: unique, purposeful pieces, designed to surprise and stay with you.
Cuentos con Sonrisa by Juan Luis Cano
One of the titles we like the most is Cuentos con Sonrisa, a unique and exclusive story written by Juan Luis Cano, journalist, comedian and part of the Gomaespuma duo.
This NFT is not only full of Cano’s characteristic humour and approachability, but also has a charitable purpose: all the profits go to the Gomaespuma Foundation, which works for the education of children in vulnerable situations. By purchasing this story, you are not only acquiring a unique story in PDF format, but you are also supporting a very worthwhile cause.
Décimas Vivas by Alexis Díaz Pimienta
And if we are talking about literature that is out of the ordinary, we have to talk about Décimas Vivas. This project, created by the writer and playwright Alexis Díaz Pimienta, is a real gem in NFT format. Not only does it recover the oral tradition of the décimas, but it also transforms them into immersive digital experiences, with Augmented Reality, 3D design, and original musical pieces created for each NFT.
But that is not all: more than 35 top artists, such as Juanes, Andrés Calamaro, Jorge Drexler, Rozalén, Fonseca, or Silvio Rodríguez, have participated in this project, lending their voices and talent to enrich each composition.
Décimas Vivas is also a collective work. Those who buy a décima can leave their mark by adding an image to an interactive digital wall, which will be built by all owners of these pieces. It is poetry, but it is also community, memory, and future.
Cuentos Cortos by Arturo Pérez-Reverte
Although it is already out of print, Cuentos Cortos was one of the first to bring literary prestige to the NFT format. Stories signed by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, designed to be unique, to become part of a new way of reading, collecting, and valuing literature.
This World Book Day, instead of talking only about paper books, we wanted to highlight these new realities that are already part of our daily lives. How literature can also live on the blockchain, among unique files, charitable causes, digital experiences, and collaborative projects.
At Gallery, we believe in that: in curious readers, in those who value what is behind a story, and in those who want to discover new ways to connect with authors. Because literature does not stand still. It transforms, evolves, and lives on, even in the NFT universe.
