Next September 18th from 9.30h to 12.30h we have the Business Tech event in the Universitas space in Telefónica, located in Telefónica District for integrators. A morning to sit down to talk about technology and tell you how we have evolved TU Latch, our Second Authorization Factor (2FAuth) solution that includes several fundamental capabilities for identity security management in the enterprise, such as: Latches for 2FAuth, TOTP Seeds for 2FA, Secure Browsing, and Latch Web3 as well as administration tools to provide an extra layer of security to all corporate applications.
That same day I will be opening this talk for integrators together with my colleague Yaiza Rubio, Chief Metaverse Officer at Telefónica, to tell you our vision on how TU Latch allows to do unique things, such as the ability to create ‘security latches’ that block access to privileged functions within an application in a simple and effective way allowing to manage access of privileged identities, and structurally protect the use of privileges in organizations. Another of its strengths is to offer two-factor authentication (2FA) using TOTP and HOTP algorithms in a centralized way, already well known.
It also offers a ‘Secure Browsing‘ option that allows you to verify the security of the web pages you are browsing when you are connected to an insecure WiFi network, by means of a parallel security validation through TU Latch. Once a connection to a dangerous web page is detected, TU Latch blocks browsing on any WiFi network to which you are connected, ensuring the security and privacy of your computer.

Currently, it is already available for Android and soon it will also be available for iOS. In this other post I published about TU Latch I also told you that it allows the control of privileged accounts with 2 Keys Activation, 4-eye verifications, or simply a second authentication factor to protect your account. If you don’t know it, I recommend this talk that, although it is years old, explains very well what can be done with Latch APIs in your systems, services and applications.
Afterwards, our colleague Javi Espinosa, Head of Software of TU Latch, will demo “in live” how to integrate TU Latch from a developer’s point of view from scratch in 5 minutes of clock time. Imagine for example how to configure a privileged function for deleting back-ups with authorization, latches and TOTP or how we are integrating TU Latch in Web3 environments. It will be a “Deep Dive” on how to integrate the protection of the TU Latch platform in a digital service.
Finally, Jaime Grau, from the area of Specialist Sales will tell the business plan and the offer of incentives for all integrators who want to work with TU Latch. In addition to having access to the TU Latch API, the plugins we have available, SDKs, administration tools, training, and how to approach integration projects together.
